The Enchanted Forest

For The Enchanted Forest, Ubumuntu Production Group filmed a poetic dance piece created by Anastasiia Urmanavichius and Olga Melifaro. The choreography was filmed in the natural landscapes of Amsterdamse Bos, transforming the forest into a cinematic fairytale setting.

Inspired by the music of Blackmore’s Night, the film follows two nymph-like characters performing a frame-up style dance, blending elegance, mysticism, and storytelling through movement. The choreography evokes a sense of enchantment and timeless folklore, where music, nature, and dance merge into a single atmosphere.

Through cinematic framing and natural light, the film captures the magical interplay between performers and the surrounding forest, creating a visual narrative that feels both intimate and dreamlike.
