Dirty Work

Dirty Work is a choreographic scene from the cine-dance thriller Sweet Cherries Ahead, highlighting the character Berta and her commanding presence within the film’s dark and seductive universe.

The sequence blends dance, attitude, and cinematic tension, allowing movement to reveal what words cannot. Through rhythm and performance, Berta becomes both storyteller and storm — a figure of power, mystery, and provocation within the film’s narrative.

Part of the cinedance language of Sweet Cherries Ahead, the scene reflects Ubumuntu’s approach to filmmaking, where choreography and cinema collide to create a visceral, unforgettable experience.
