Zoo Hypothesis

For the Where The Wild Love Is meditation app, Ubumuntu Production Group developed a unique narrative character concept and, in collaboration with the Shared Intelligence Studio, created animated visual content to support the app’s storytelling and digital presence.

The character and animation explore the poetic idea that the natural world may be part of a larger cosmic conversation. Inspired by the Zoo Hypothesis—the notion that advanced civilizations may be observing humanity as we evolve—the project invites audiences to reflect on compassion, harmony, and our relationship with life on Earth.

Through a blend of creative storytelling, animation, and AI-assisted visual development, the project expands the WTWLI universe beyond meditation into a broader artistic narrative about consciousness, kindness, and humanity’s place in the living ecosystem of the planet—and perhaps beyond it.

The animated piece encourages viewers to pause, listen to the wild, and consider a simple question:

What if the signal the universe is waiting for is not technology—but compassion?
